Flash is a very popular tool in website development. Many websites make use if flash designs. Not all websites necessarily require flash. Know if your site requires flash designing.
I know flash makes websites more attractive and enhances it's beauty, but it is not mandatory that your website MUST have a flash page in order to make it appear good. More than doing good to your site, the flash designs do a lot of harm to your website. They make your site slow, and also reduce its ranking in the search engines. Hence to ensure a good site performance, it is not necessary that your website should require a flash web designing. Your website can do without flash web designing.
In my suggestion I would advise people to make minimum use of flash designing, since it causes a lot of difficulty in search engine ranking of the websites. 90% of the websites online can do without flash designing as they do not really have a requirement or compulsion to have them in their site. As a matter of fact apart from fully interactive websites or sites that provide interior designing, musical bands, interactive kid's bands, photo galleries are the only sites that need compulsory flash web designing. Websites that have less of information and more of features are the only ones that require flash, others who can easily put across their views through text need not unnecessarily load themselves with flash designs.
But if you are too keen on having a flash design for a reason specific to you, I would suggest that you also create a full HTML version of your site, which will fight as a substitute for your flash site.
